A good fit. Not a favor.
We're not here to guilt you into it. We're here to match a dog who needs a home with a home that's actually ready for them.
Indie dogs adapt fast, but they're not blank slates. Most have already survived the street — that means real instincts, real personality, and sometimes real caution around strangers at first.
We ask questions before we hand over a leash: about your space, your routine, and whether everyone at home actually agreed to this. It's not a test to fail. It's how we avoid a dog being returned twice.
The Process
Questions, answered.
Is there an adoption fee?
No fee to adopt. We may ask you to cover vaccination or sterilization costs if they haven't been done yet — that's it.
What if I already have pets at home?
Totally fine — tell us during the match step. We'll factor temperament and introduce slowly during the home-check.
I live in a rented flat. Is that a problem?
Not automatically. We just confirm your landlord and building rules allow it, so the dog isn't back on the street in three months.
Can I foster before committing?
Yes, and we'd rather you did if you're unsure. Fostering uses the same home-check, just with an easier exit.
What if it doesn't work out?
Talk to us first. Most issues are fixable with a few changes. If it genuinely isn't working, we help re-home the dog properly — no dog goes back to the street because a match failed.
